Thank you for your ongoing support and prayers.
Some of you may have received a call from us about a positive COVID-19 test result of one of our residents.
We have discovered that one of our residents has tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. This resident was sent to the hospital for further evaluation and is not currently in the facility.
We continue to be in close contact with the California Department of Public Health and San Diego County Public Health. We continue to follow or exceed all up-to-date Centers for Disease Control guidelines and recommendations. As previously mentioned, our number 1 objective continues to be the safety and well-being of all our residents and employees. We continue to work extremely hard in keeping our residents safe and lower the risk of exposure. One way we are doing that is by closely monitoring the signs and symptoms of all our residents.
We continue to restrict visitors. We also provide all staff and necessary vendors face masks upon entrance. They now are an expected part of their uniform and it is mandatory that the masks be worn inside the building and throughout their whole shift. We also continue to screen upon entrance of all staff and necessary vendors by taking their temperature, confirming they do not have upper respiratory symptoms, or have traveled in the last 14 days or have been exposed to anyone ill. We also ask all staff members and necessary vendors if they have visited or work at other facilities with COVID-19.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation through this difficult time. We share your concerns and are committed to providing a safe environment for your loved ones and staff.
